Transformer Recycling Machine Structure

Small transformers are composed of two parts: iron core and winding (coil).

(1) Iron core

Commonly used iron cores are E-shaped, Japanese-shaped, F-shaped, and C-shaped. In order to reduce the loss in the iron core, the iron core of the transformer is made of laminated silicon steel sheets. The thickness of the silicon steel sheets is generally 0.35 mm, and a few are 0.5 mm. The surface is coated with an insulating paint and dried or the surface oxide film is used The silicon steel sheets are insulated from each other. The staggered method is usually used when stacking so that the seams of the silicon steel sheets are staggered.

(2) Winding

Commonly known as the coil. Most small transformers adopt a mutual inductance double-coil structure, in which the winding connected to the power supply is called the primary winding; the winding connected to the load is called the secondary winding. The combination of winding and iron core has two types: core type and shell type. For single-phase small transformers, in addition to the C-shaped and other two core structures, the rest of the iron cores are all shell structures; three-phase small transformers usually use E-shaped iron cores to form a core structure. The so-called core structure means that the windings encase the iron core, and the shell structure means that the iron core encases the windings.
