Magnetic switch is a switch structure that uses principles of electricity and magnetism to open or close. Electromagnetic switch of starter motor is installed on car starter motor.

To start internal combustion engine, electromagnetic switch drives its plunger to establish a mechanical engagement between starter motor and ring gear of engine, and supplies power from battery to starter motor.

When working, coil needs to be energized and generate magnetic force, and iron core placed in coil will move due to same sex repulsion, and achieve separation or contact with switch contact, so as to achieve purpose of switch opening and closing.
