How does it work?

• Hydraulic hold-down first presses down to secure the scrap metal, then the cutting blade moves down to shear it. After cutting, the blade retracts and the hold-down releases, ready for the next cycle.
• In automatic mode, AS-2500 repeats this cutting sequence continuously. In single-cycle mode, it completes one full press-cut-return cycle at a time.

This no-load test demonstrates the smooth, coordinated movement of both mechanisms.

AS-2500 scrap metal shearing machine uses two 15 kW motors and a dual-pump hydraulic system to support stable, repetitive cutting.

The split-design structure provides access to the main mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components.

1. Shearing Part: Before cutting, pressing mechanism holds the scrap metal firmly in place. The moving upper blade then closes against fixed lower blade, cutting the metal into shorter, manageable pieces.
2. Hydraulic System: Hydraulic pump, oil tank, cylinders, and hydraulic pipes work together to provide the force needed for pressing and shearing, ensuring smooth, controlled movement during operation.
3. Electrical Control System: Electrical control cabinet manages as-2500 metal shearing machine's operation, while the control panel allows operators to start and stop the machine, control the cutting and blade return movements, and activate the emergency stop when needed.
4. Heavy-Duty Steel Frame: The welded steel frame provides strong, stable support for the entire machine, helping it withstand the high forces generated during heavy-duty scrap metal cutting.

It can also cut steel plates up to 20 mm thick × 700 mm wide or 40 mm thick × 300 mm wide.
