What are ACSR wires?

ACSR is a kind of cable that is made by twisting aluminum and steel wires. The inside is a steel core, and the outside is an aluminum wire wrapped around the steel core by twisting;

Steel core mainly plays the role of increasing the strength, and the aluminum stranded wire mainly plays the role of transmitting electric energy. ACSR cable is widely used in industry, and recycling scrap metal from these ACSR wires is worth it.

How to recycle ACSR wires?

It is not advisable to manually strip ACSR because the cable is very rigid and cannot be easily separated. Using a wire granulator recycling machine to peel is efficient and convenient, and also saves time and effort for you.
